Moldovan deputy premier for reintegration discusses with U.S. Ambassador

Chisinau, 29 April /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Olga Cebotari today had a meeting with Ambassador of the United States to Moldova Dereck J. Hogan, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.

The two officials discussed more up-to-date subjects, including the Moldovan-American bilateral relations, present situation in the process of talks on the Transnistrian settlement, as well as the measures undertaken to overcome the pandemic crisis in Moldova and in the country’s eastern districts.

The sides expressed mutual openness for the consistent development and consolidation of the relations between Moldova and the United States in diverse sectors of reciprocal interest and, in particular, in the settlement process, especially as the USA have capacity of observer in the 5+2 format of negotiations.
