Moldovan acting cabinet approved regulation on jobs' subsidization

Chisinau, 29 April /MOLDPRES/ - The acting cabinet approved a regulation on the subsidization of jobs at a meeting today. The document establishes the procedure of providing subsidies related to the expenses regarding the salary’s payment.  

Under the government’s decision, the expenses for jobs’ subsidization is made within the limits of the budgetary allocations annually approved in the state budget, according to the principle ‘’first come, first served.’’ ‘’If the sum of subsidies reaches the limits of the budgetary allocations annually approved in the state budget, the Finance Ministry, in the process of rectification or working out of the state budget, proposes supplying of the budgetary allocations, including in order to cover the sums of the subsidy of the previous year,’’ the cabinet decision reads.   

The subsidy for the employment of the people, who have not had salary incomes on a period of at least 12 consecutive months before the employment month, is provided for the expenses as to the payment of the wage earners employed as of 1 January 2021.    

The State Fiscal Service will annually present, till 1 April, a report on the providing of subsidies according to categories of employees to the Finance Ministry and the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry.  

The present decision enters into force on the date of its publication in Moldova’s Official Journal.
