As many as 370 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 29 April /MOLDPRES/- In the last 24 hours, 4,262 tests were processed in the Republic of Moldova, 370 cases of infection with the new coronavirus were confirmed, one of which was imported. A total of 250,508 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the country so far.

According to the data of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection (MSMPS), out of the total number of cases, 5 medical workers: 1-doctor, 3-nurses, auxiliary staff-1.

In total, 1,941 patients confirmed with COVID-19 infection are hospitalized, of which 207 are in extremely serious condition (36 patients are connected to assisted breathing devices).

In home treatment with mild and moderate forms of COVID-19 there are 2,812 people, and 16,165 are under home supervision.

Another 473 people were treated. In total, 239,399 people were treated by COVID-19.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 15 deaths caused by COVID-19, the number of deaths reaching 5,795. So far, 116 health workers have died from COVID-19 infection.
