Moldovan government approves Land Cadastre for 2021

Chisinau, 29 April /MOLDPRES/ - The Land Cadaster for 2021was approved at a cabinet meeting today, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
So, on the period 1 January 2020 – 1 January 2021, specialists for the regulation of the land property regime included changes of the areas of the lands according to the categories of purpose and of use, form of property, landowners of villages, cities and districts and the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia. While compiling the Land Cadastre, decision-makers registered the newly used lands, with their inclusion in the agricultural circulation, planting and clearing the perennial plantations, protection forest belts, as well as the edification or annulation of the irrigation or draining systems.
According to Cadastre data, the overall area of Moldova is 3,384.7 thousand hectares. On 1 January 2021, the total area of farmlands was of 2,129.5 thousands hectares. The area of the irrigated areas is of 217.94 thousand hectares. As compared to the situation from 1 January 2020, decision-makers find out a diminution of the reserve fund by 41.245 thousand hectares, as a result of the exclusion of the lands occupied by constructions and annexes of former farming units.
The public property lands of the state have an area of 783.87 thousand hectares, the ones of the administrative and territorial units – almost 700,000 hectares and the private property lands have an area of more than 1,901.5 thousand hectares.
