Servicemen not allowed to go home during Easter holidays

Chisinau, 30 April /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Defense announced today that the quarantine period continues in the units of the National Army, that is why the soldiers are not allowed to go home, and visits to the military unit are prohibited.

Lately there have been more and more requests from the relatives of the soldiers who want to visit them during the Easter holidays.

"In this context, we inform that the quarantine period continues in the units of the National Army, that is why the soldiers are not allowed to go home, and visits to the military unit are prohibited. These restrictions are imposed to protect the health of soldiers and to prevent their infection with COVID-19 ", the statement issued by the institution states.

The leadership of the Ministry notes that the soldiers will have a traditional holiday meal. They will participate in the divine service on the territory of the unit, will serve cake and will beat eggs together with their comrades.
