Chisinau, 30 April /MOLDPRES/ - The Education, Culture and Research Ministry (MECC) today informed that the half-yearly test papers were cancelled in all education institutions with lyceum classes, no matter the activity form, at the summer session of the 2020-2021 academic year and the practical examination in the disciplines specific to the curricular sector of Sports and Arts.
According to the MECC press service, Education, Culture and Research Minister Lilia Pogolsa signed an order to this end on 29 April.
The quoted source also said that the decision had been taken following consultations with the education community from Moldova, taking into account the fact that the pupils of the 9th-11th forms were involved, to a great extent, in the online education process.
Therefore, the half-yearly average mark in the disciplines from the lyceum cycle, for which semester test papers were to be written at the 2021 summer session, will be calculated from the arithmetical mean of the current marks got in the second half-year.
