Forty three new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 3 May /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 620 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 43 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. As many as 251,378 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), none of all cases recorded is among medical employees.

As many as 1,670 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 199 are in extremely serious condition (28 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 2,438 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 15,954 are under supervision at home.

Another 392 people have been treated. As many as 241,216 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 12 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 5,850 people have died of coronavirus in all.
