Sputnik V vaccine distributed to vaccination centers in Moldova

Chisinau, 4 May /MOLDPRES/- A number of 39,900 doses of Sputnik V vaccine was distributed to vaccination centers in the country for the administration of the first dose.
In total, ANSP received from the Russian Federation, as humanitarian aid, 80 thousand doses of Sputnik V vaccine (both doses) for the immunization of 40 thousand people.
The Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection notes that the Sputnik V vaccine is a safe and effective vaccine, with an efficacy of 91.6% against COVID-19 and 100% against severe forms of COVID-19. It is administered in two stages at an interval of 21 days.
