Moldovan electoral body to start receiving documents of candidates on 14 May

Chisinau, 12 May /MOLDPRES/- The Central Electoral Commission will start receiving the documents for the registration of the electoral contestants on 14 May.
CEC members established at today's meeting the date for receiving documents for the registration of the candidates for the position of MP. Thus, this process will start on 14 May and will last until 11 June.
During the same period, it will be possible to submit the documents for the registration of the initiative groups to support the independent candidates for the position of MP.
Candidates will have to present between 2,000 and 2,500 signatures in their favor, and the number of signatures for female candidates is twice as small.
