Chisinau, 12 May /MOLDPRES/- Acting Prime Minister Aureliu Ciocoi today conveyed a congratulatory message to nurses on their professional day, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
The message reads:
"International community today on 12 May celebrates International Nurses Day. As we are in the second year of the fight against the pandemic, we are even more aware of the importance of nurses and we fully recognize their merits. Along with doctors, nurses are those on the front lines, who work in conditions not at all easy for the noble mission of saving people's lives.
Certainly, this job can be practiced only by those people who, in addition to professionalism and dedication, show altruism and empathy for pain of patients, giving them care they need.
Dear nurses,
Thank you on behalf of the government and on my own behalf for dedication and important role in ensuring quality public health.
Thank you for effort and endurance you show every day, especially in the pandemic.
This crisis has shown us how important human resources are in the public health system. I wish health and well-being to your families, and in your professional activity - new achievements and to be fully appreciated according to your merits. I wish you to stay open and willing to build new knowledge in the field, advancing in your professional career.”
