SPECIFICATIONS: Only Moldovans holding Romanian citizenship to be able to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in Iasi

Chisinau, 13 May /MOLDPRES/ - Only the Moldovans holding the Romanian citizenship will be able to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in Iasi, Romania, within a marathon due to be organized by the Grigore T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy (UMF Iasi) from this settlement on 14-17 May.
According to a pres release issued by the Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy (USMF), only the citizens of Moldova holding also the citizenship of Romania will be able to be vaccinated. The immunization will be carried out 24 hours, starting from 14 May, 16:00, till 17 May, 8:00. Thus, any person with Romanian citizenship, who turned 16, can come to the headquarters of the institution (Universitatii Street, 16), without scheduling, in order to be immunized with the first dose of Pfizer vaccine. A written agreement of a parent or a legal tutor will be needed for minors.
The second dose of vaccine will be made at UMF Iasi 21 days after the first dose, in week-end, on 4-6 June.
The same source has earlier informed that the citizens of Moldova who do not have Romanian acts would also be allowed to the vaccination marathon and the immunization was to be made based on the Moldovan identity card or biometric passport.
