Vaccination centers to work on weekends

Chisinau, 14 May /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection urges people eligible for vaccination to get vaccinated against COVID-19. Vaccination centers will work on weekends.
Health authorities announced that vaccination centers nationwide will operate non-stop, including on weekends.
For vaccination, citizens must contact the family doctor, according to their home address, or schedule online through the national vaccination platform www.vaccinare.gov.md. Those who are eligible for vaccination will enter the data in the programming section, and those who do not meet these conditions at this stage, will be registered in the waiting list.
Currently, the first, second and third stages of vaccination are taking place in Moldova, in which the following categories are eligible: medical workers, staff and beneficiaries of asylums and temporary or long-term placement centers, people aged 60+ and those with comorbidities, employees of structures for maintaining and ensuring public order, defense and state security, penitentiary system workers, education and social workers, communities, regardless of legal form and type of organization.
So far, 21,640 people have been vaccinated against the new coronavirus in the country.
