As many as 181 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 14 May /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 6,540 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 181 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which nine import ones. As many as 253,567 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), no medical employees are among the cases of infection with COVID.

As many as 1,311 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 160 are in extremely serious condition (26 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 1,494 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 14,633 are under supervision at home.

Another 189 people have been treated. As many as 244,487 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 11 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,006 people have died of coronavirus in all.
