Moldovan diplomacy head meets Ukrainian counterpart

Chisinau, 17 May /MOLDPRES/ - Acting Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Aureliu Ciocoi today had a bilateral meeting with Foreign Affairs Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba, during his visit to Ukraine, occasioned by the holding of a trilateral meeting Ukraine – Moldova – Georgia, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) press service has reported.
The officials appreciated the boosting of the political dialogue which, in conditions of quarantine and despite the current restrictions, registered a continuous development. In this respect, the officials confirmed the two sides’ willingness to turn to good account the cooperation potential from both countries, in the spirit of the good-neighbouring spirit.
Foreign Affairs Ministers Aureliu Ciocoi and Dmytro Kuleba agreed on the organization, in the near future, of bilateral consultations on the building of the Cosauti-Yampil bridge and the related infrastructure, signing of the agreement on the recognition of the vaccination certificates, in order to facilitate the citizens’ movement, fostering of economic exchanges and removing of the present restrictions in the commercial relations, considering possibilities of canceling the costs for roaming conversations, as well as other priority subjects on the bilateral agenda.
