Number of people vaccinated against COVID-19 exceeded 300 thousand

Chisinau, 24 May /MOLDPRES/- A number of 302,116 citizens of the Republic of Moldova has got vaccinated against COVID-19 so far, of which over 4,000 at vaccination marathon organized by the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy Nicolae Testemitanu.

According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, from 2 March until now, 39,445 people have received both doses of vaccine, and 262,671 only the first. More than 1,300 of those vaccinated had side effects.

At the university immunization marathon -From student to student, organized by the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy Nicolae Testemitanu, 4,068 citizens got vaccinated, of which 2,500 with Pfizer, 1,188 with AstraZeneca and 380 with Sinopharm.

A similar action has been announced for this weekend and will be carried out by the authorities in the capital.
