Current week starts with warning of wind gusting in Moldova

Chisinau, 24 May /MOLDPRES/ - The last spring week started with Yellow Code of wind gusting, announced till late 24 May by the State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS).

According to meteorologists, the north-western wind will gust to 15-20 metres/second on this period.

In the context, rescuers recommend avoiding places where there are dry trees or high-tension electric wires.

SHS data shows that, on the days to come, the weather will warm to +26 Celsius degrees during the day and to +14 degrees at night. Also, as of 26 May, rains of different intensity are forecast in some regions.

In case of Yellow Code, the weather conditions are potentially dangerous; the meteorological phenomena forecast are usual for Moldova’s territory; yet, they may temporarily become dangerous for certain social and economic activities.
