As many as 73 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 25 May /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 4,375 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 73 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which one import case. As many as 254,814 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), one out of all cases registered is a medical employee: 1 auxiliary staff employee.

As many as 715 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 104 are in extremely serious condition (14 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 1,121 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 14,587 are under supervision at home.

Another 128 people have been treated. As many as 246,894 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another four deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,084 people have died of coronavirus in all.
