Moldovan government approves programme of activities for Moldova's reintegration for 2021

Chisinau, 26 May /MOLDPRES/ - The acting cabinet, at a today’s meeting, approved the programme of activities on Moldova’s reintegration for 2021.

The programme’s goal is to finance 41 community interest projects in settlements from the Security Zone, meant to contribute to the promotion of confidence building measures between the residents of the two banks of Dniester and the achievement of the government’s objective of the country’s reintegration. The overall value of the projects selected is 15 million lei, allocated from the state budget to this end for 2021.

The central and local public administration authorities, beneficiaries of financial means provided for in the programme of activities for Moldova’s reintegration for 2021, will undertake the measures needed to carry out the aforementioned programme till the end of the fourth quarter of the 2021 year and for the submission to the State Chancellery (Reintegration Policies Bureau) of half-year and annual reports on the use of the means earmarked through the programme approved.

The decision enters into force ion the date of its publication in Moldova’s Official Journal.
