Chisinau city hall to provide disadvantaged children with assistance

Chisinau, 27 May /MOLDPRES/- On the eve of International Children's Day, 8,000 children from disadvantaged families will get assistance from Chisinau city hall.

According to Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban, after examining the complex cases of disadvantaged people / families, as well as the proposals for the implementation of special purpose municipal programs, it was decided that 8000 children will receive material aid worth 700 lei each to prepare for new school year. The total amount allocated by the municipal budget in this regard is 5.6 million lei.

At the same time, the mayor noted that on the eve of World Blood Donors Day, which is marked on 14 June, 76 active and emeritus donors will receive 500 lei each.
