Moldovan capital's sanitary authorities rule to relax anti-COVID measures

Chisinau, 27 May /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau municipality’s Extraordinary Public Health Commission has relaxed the measures of combating the coronavirus pandemic.
Under a decision adopted today, the Chisinau residents are no longer obliged to wear masks in open spaces. The compulsoriness of wearing the mask remains valid in closed spaces, public transport, as well as for public events, manifestations and rallies.
The participants in the meeting also ruled to return to the usual working regime of the institutions from the HORECA sector, with the observance of the anti-COVID measures. Exception represents the night clubs, discotheques and karaoke.
The organization of events will take place with a capacity of 50 per cent of the hall’s places. The theatres and concert halls return to the usual schedule, with preserving the distance of one metre between people and wearing masks. Moreover, the leisure places and the entertainment parks, as well as the topic-related fairs resume working. The participants in the meeting allowed also the organization of the work of camps in Chisinau and sports competitions.
