Moldovan citizens expected at new vaccination marathon in Chisinau

Chisinau, 28 May /MOLDPRES/- Vaccination marathon at the Palace of the Republic started today and will last until Sunday evening. It started at 9:00 in the morning, when queues had already formed in front of the building. Vaccination is possible without prior appointment, only with the identity card.

The opening of the marathon was attended by leadership of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection and Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban. They announced that four thousand doses of four types of vaccine are available: AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Sinopharm, CoronaVac. Pfizer serums, for which the demand is higher, are in the amount of 2500 doses.

The officials announced that, during the vaccination days, there will be breaks of 30 minutes for cleaning up the spaces.

At the Palace of the Republic, 20 vaccination points have been arranged, which will work between 09:00 - 22:00. An intensive care and monitoring area has also been set up for safety measures.
