Moldovan citizens to be able to freely travel to Romania from 1 June

Chisinau, 28 May /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan citizens will be able to travel to Romania from 1 June under travel passport issued by the Moldovan authorities and a document confirming the administration of the vaccine against the new coronavirus or the negative result of COVID-19 testing, without being quarantined.

Yesterday, the Bucharest government set up new measures on travel regime in Romania for foreign citizens.

Thus, according to an article of the decision of the National Committee for Emergency Situations, starting with 1 June it is proposed to eliminate the bans on the entry into Romania of foreign citizens and stateless persons.

Also, the same decision eliminates the extension of the state of health alert, which was set on 13 May.
