Number of 45 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 29 May /MOLDPRES/- In the last 24 hours, 5,130 tests were processed in the Republic of Moldova, confirming 45 cases of infection with the new coronavirus, of which four were imported. To date, a total of 255,105 cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the country.

According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection (MSMPS), out of the total number of cases, one is among medical workers (a doctor).

In total, 525 patients confirmed with COVID-19 infection are hospitalized in hospital medical institutions, of which 85 are in an extremely serious condition (12 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

At the same time, 1,068 people are being treated at home with mild and moderate forms of COVID-19, and 14,294 are under home supervision.

Another 109 people were treated. In total, 247,349 people were treated by COVID-19.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of three other deaths caused by COVID-19, the number of deaths reaching 6,100.
