Number of 40 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 30 May /MOLDPRES/-In the last 24 hours, 2,593 tests were processed in the Republic of Moldova, confirming 40 cases of infection with the new coronavirus. To date, a total of 255,145 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the country.

According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection (MSMPS), of the total number of cases, none are among medical workers.

In total, 510 patients confirmed with COVID-19 infection are hospitalized in hospital medical institutions, of which 79 are in an extremely serious condition (11 patients are connected to assisted breathing devices).

At the same time, 1,063 people are being treated at home with mild and moderate forms of COVID-19, and 14,311 are under home supervision.

Another 95 people were treated. In total, 247,444 people were treated by COVID-19.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of four other deaths caused by COVID-19, the number of deaths reaching 6,104.
