Business school in creative industry sector launched in Tiraspol

Chisinau, 31 May /MOLDPRES/ - A business school for the creative sector has been opened in Tiraspol. The school is set to help entrepreneurs from both banks of Dniester to start a business and those who already have a business in the field – to overcome the pandemic crisis and enhance their potential.
The school was launched by the Association of Creative Industries from Tiraspol, in partnership with the Association of Creative Companies from Moldova and the Agency for Innovation and Development, with the support of Sweden and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), within the project, Development of Export Capacities on the Banks of Dniester (Ad Trade).
„We have created accessible courses about the urban entrepreneurship, by collecting theoretical knowledge and practical instruments. We will help identify an idea, as well create one’s own business. The school will provide theoretical knowledge; yet, the main emphasis will be put on practical instruments,’’ the director of the Association of Creative Industries from the left bank of Dniester, Olesea Lungu, said.
„The school of creative industries meets the needs of entrepreneurs from the sector and the present tendencies on the local and global markets for creative products and services. The initiative is based on a complex exercise of mapping the potential of development of the sector of creative industries on the left bank of Dniester and proposes practical solutions for the sector’s development. Thus, new partnership will be formed between the businesses from both banks of Dniester and foreign partners and the creation of new jobs, especially for women and young people,’’ a project manager of UNDP Moldova, Natalia Iachimov, said.
The first training course will be held online on 4- June – 6 August and will approach more subjects, among which the time’s management and personal efficiency, efficient instruments of management, financing and business planning, digital marketing, sales and negotiations, etc. After the end of the training programme, the association members will be able to benefit from assistance in marketing and business’ digitalization.
