National platform www.alerte.md launched in south Moldova city

Chisinau, 31 May /MOLDPRES/ - A national platform, www.alerte.md, meant for the citizens and mayoralties of Moldova, has been launched in the southern Cahul city. The new platform will allow each city of Moldova to have an application which will be managed by the mayoralty from the settlement and will allow an intelligent management, in order to optimize the communication between the citizens, civil society and local public administration.
On www.alerte.md, citizens will be able report problems of the local authorities and could watch online the progress of notification’s settlement, launch civic initiatives and get the community’s support through a voting system, participate in opinion polls launched by mayoralties, thus contributing to decision-taking, to subscribe to important notifications from the city of the zone where they live.
Cahul is the first settlement of Moldova, where www.alerte.md is launched and which will digitalize the communication with citizens, through all instruments available on the platform. The project is implemented in partnership with the Cahul city hall, which will be in charge of the web application’s management.
The national platform, www.alerte.md was developed with the financial support of the National Endowment for Democracy. The local version of the project in the Cahul municipality is launched within the project, Alerte.md in your city, which is part of the civil society development programme locally in Moldova, financed by the European Union and Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
