Chisinau-based National Library for Children organizes gala of most active readers

Chisinau, 31 May /MOLDPRES/ - The Ion Creanga National Library for Children honours its most active readers on the Children’s Day. The gala of the library’s most active readers will take place on 1 June at 11:00 this year as well.

Contacted by MOLDPRES, the institution’s director, Eugenia Bejan, said that those 20 young people, who were awarded the title of Model Reader, had been selected following an evaluation of the reader’s cards and their involvement in the activities carried out by the library on the period September 2020 – May 2021.

According to the Bejan, the readers who were awarded prizes will enjoy an attractive holiday, with many surprises; they will receive diplomas and money prizes.

The library’s partners at this event are the Children’s Fund of Moldova and the National Section of the International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY).
