Superior Council of Magistrates postponed appointment of acting head of Chisinau Court of Appeal

Chisinau, 1 June /MOLDPRES/- The Superior Council of Magistrates /CSM / postponed today appointment of interim head of the Chisinau Court of Appeal, after dismissal of Vladislav Clima by President Maia Sandu. 10 members of the CSM voted for the postponement.
The interim president of the CSM, Luiza Gafton, proposed the appointment of an interim head of the Court of Appeal among deputy heads, but after an exchange of remarks, it was decided to postpone the issue until the publication of the presidential decree in the Official Journal of Moldova.
Also today, the CSM members approved the resignation of magistrate Ion Cotea.
