Librarians from Moldova, Romania to organize marathon of tales

Chisinau, 1 June /MOLDPRES/ - Seventy one librarians from 22 counties of Romania and 14 district of Moldova on 3 June will hold the second issue of the marathon of tales, by reading tales to children and adults during 8 hours.

Contacted by MOLDPRES, the head of the Moldovan Association of Librarians, Elena Pintilei, said that the event was organized on the occasion of the Children’s Day, marked on 1 June, which is an occasion of holiday for the children, as well as for those who love, protect them and cultivate their mind and soul.

According to Pintilei, the event will be broadcast live on the Facebook as of 10:00.

The project is carried out with the support of the partners: National Association of Librarians and Public Libraries of Romania, Association of Librarians from Romania, Associations of Librarians of Moldova and the Excellence Centre for children and youth of the G. Baritiu County Library from Brasov, Romania.

The first issue of the marathon of tales took place on 1 June 2020.
