Moldovan border policemen identify over 460 forged PCR tests since early 2021

Chisinau, 2 June /MOLDPRES/ - Over 460 PCR Covid-19 tests with forging signs have been identified since the beginning of this year till 31 May. As many as 108 forged tests were found out at the entrance into Moldova and another 346 ones – at the exit from the country.

Data by the General Inspectorate of Border Police shows that most forged tests were detected in the first months of 202 and the number of lawless acts decreased in late last May. Most forged tests were found at the Chisinau International Airport, Leuseni, Sculeni, Criva and Palanca customs checkpoints.

Under the legislation in force, people who presented acts with signs of forging run the risk of being fined with up to 32,000 lei or get up to two years of imprisonment.
