As many as 44 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 2 June /MOLDPRES/- A number of 5,014 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 44 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which one import case. As many as 255,285 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), none of all cases of infection registered is among medical employees.

As many as 450 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 78 are in extremely serious condition (12 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 805 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 13,912 are under supervision at home.

Another 107 people have been treated. As many as 247,716 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another six deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,120 people have died of coronavirus in all.
