Chisinau city hall sets friendly relations with Kazan, Russia

Chisinau,3 June /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau city hall representatives signed a Protocol of Intent for the establishment of friendly relations between Kazan, Russia, and the capital of the Republic of Moldova.

The document was signed by Deputy Mayor Angela Cutasevici from Chisinau and by Evghenia Lodvigova, Deputy Mayor of Kazan, at a Forum Healthy Cities. Healthy eating for children, held in the locality.

According to the deputy mayor, the signing of the document will be an impetus for the launch of joint projects of the Chisinau authorities with the city of Kazan. "We are interested in collaboration in all spheres of social field: culture, health care, education," said Angela Cutasevici.

The protocol involves the exchange of experience in the field of economy and trade, culture, sports and tourism. The parties intend to initiate joint projects in healthcare and education.

A delegation of the Chisinau city hall, led by Mayor Ion Ceban, participates on 2-5 May in International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg.
