As many as 69 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 3 June /MOLDPRES/- A number of 5,111 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 69 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which four import ones. As many as 255,354 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), two out of all cases of infection registered are among medical employees (one medical assistant and one auxiliary staff employee).

As many as 316 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 75 are in extremely serious condition (10 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 1,009 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 13,821 are under supervision at home.

Another 114 people have been treated. As many as 247,830 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another five deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,125 people have died of coronavirus in all.
