Moldovan painter exhibits works at Constantin Brancusi exhibition centre

Chisinau, 3 June /MOLDPRES/ - A personal exhibition titled, Artistic expression of daily life, by fine artist Liviu Hancu today was inaugurated at the Constantin Brancusi Exhibition Centre.
The exhibition comprises 108 painting works made by the author in various techniques.
In the beginning of the event, the deputy head of the Moldovan Fine Artists’ Union, Florina Breazu, said that Liviu Hancu was a recognized fine artist, who asserted himself in this field in Moldova and abroad. He is known not only in Europe, but also across the Ocean.
Liviu Hancu was born in the Volodeni village, northern Edinet district, on 13 July 1959. In 1978, he finished the I. Repin Fine Arts School and in 1989 – the Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture from St. Petersburg, Russia. He had personal exhibitions in Moldova, Austria, Germany, Romania, Slovakia, USA, Turkey, Hungary and other countries. In 1993, he became member of the Moldovan Fine Artists’ Union and member of the UNESCO International Association of Art, Paris. Liviu Hancu was awarded more prizes at numerous exhibitions and contests staged in Moldova and abroad.
The exhibition will be opened till 20 June.
