Ten lei coin put into circulation celebrating 30 years of activity of National Bank

Chisinau, 4 June /MOLDPRES/- The National Bank of the Republic of Moldova has put into circulation a coin with a face value of ten MDL.

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of activity, the National Bank put into circulation in Moldova, as a means of payment and for numismatic purposes, a metal coin - 10 lei.

The new coin is made of steel, plated with nickel and brass, which gives it a bimetallic look: silver and gold.

The obverse of the coin shows in the central plane the stylized image of the figure "30" in which is framed the logo of the National Bank of Moldova and the inscription ANI.

It will run in parallel with 10 lei banknote and the metal coin with the same face value, including those with a commemorative character, from 2018-2020 issue.
