Moldovan acting PM conveys congratulatory message on occasion of National Bank's anniversary

Chisinau, 4 June /MOLDPRES/ - Acting Prime Minister Aureliu Ciocoi today conveyed a congratulatory message on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the foundation of the National Bank of Moldova (BNM), the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

The message, inter alia, reads:

”On 4 June, 30 years ago, the foundations of the banking system from our country were laid, with the setting up of the National Bank of Moldova. On this period, BNM had an impressive way; it overcame multiple challenges, crises, as well as launched and guided reforms of the banking and financial sector from our country.   

I want to offer sincere thanks and wishes of good health to all those who were at the basis of this fundamental institution from Moldova, those who contributed and those who continue to work day by day for the good functioning, development and flourishing of BNM and the country alike.   

Dear BNM employees, I wish you in continuation inspiration and dedication for the successful fulfillment of the institutional duty, aimed at promoting and maintaining a viable financial system, based on the market principles and at the country’s economic development. May your professional activity be further guided by institutional values, such as reliability, responsibility, performance and practices of good governance. At the same time, by continuing the modernization of the BNM services, through adapting them to the current needs of the national economy.’’
