As many as 48 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 4 June /MOLDPRES/- A number of 5,922 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 48 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. A number of 1,268 tests are quick antigen ones.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), as many as 255,402 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

As many as 307 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 64 are in extremely serious condition (nine patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

Another 105 people have been treated. As many as 247,935 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

In the context, 997 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 14,000 are under supervision at home.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another four deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,129 people have died of coronavirus in all.
