Moldovan parliament speaker conveys message on occasion of bank employee's day

Chisinau, 4 June /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanii today conveyed a congratulatory message on the occasion of the banking employee’s day, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.  

The message reads:

”The commercial banks have an important role in the social and economic development, through the fact that they support the startups and small- and medium –sized enterprises, manage private deposits, credit private people and the economy, contribute to investments’ attraction, carry out important programmes on social responsibility. The financial and insurance institutions are among the most prestigious employers, providing almost 20,000 well-paid jobs all over the country.      

The market’s dynamic development, the intellectual and technological potential of the banking sector in our country contribute to the enhancement of the attractiveness for foreign investors. It is important that the national economy can benefit from these advantages, in the interest of all Moldova’s citizens. 

On the occasion of the banking employee’s day, I convey words of encouraging for the big professional progress in the interest of the clients, communities and the county, on the whole, to the employees of the National Bank of Moldova, those 11 licenced commercial banks, non-bank crediting companies. At the same time, I convey words of respect to the seniors of the financial and banking sector, especially to those who stayed at the basis of the field’s edification 30 years ago.
