As many as 21 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 6 June /MOLDPRES/- A number of 2,121 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 21 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. As many as 255,453 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), none of all cases of infection registered is among medical employees.

As many as 308 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 61 are in extremely serious condition (12 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 971 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 14,044 are under supervision at home.

Another 27 people have been treated. As many as 248,040 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another two deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,134 people have died of coronavirus in all.
