As many 2,142 polling stations set up for snap parliamentary elections due in Moldova

Chisinau, 7 June /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) informs that 2,142 polling stations have been set up for the 11 July 2021 snap parliamentary elections.
A number of 139 out of these polling stations were created for Moldova’s citizens from abroad and 44 polling stations – for the citizens with right to vote from the settlements on the left bank of Dniester, Bender city and several settlements from the south-eastern Causeni district.
Most polling stations will be opened in the Chisinau electoral constituency No 1, which comprises the Moldovan capital’s districts and suburbs, – 304 polling stations in all.
The electoral bureaus of the polling stations will be set up till 15 June inclusively.
