More than 28 billion lei collected in Moldova's national public budget in first five months of 2021

Chisinau, 7 June /MOLDPRES/ - Revenues worth 28.1 billion lei were collected in the national public budget in the first five months of 2021, which is by 4.8 billion lei more against the same period of the year before, the Finance Ministry has reported.
At the same time, the expenses amounted to 31.1 billion lei, which is by 4.5 billion lei more against the same period of 2020. The carrying out of the national public budget resulted in a deficit of 3 billion lei. The balances of the financial means in the accounts of the national public budget’s component budgets stood at 8.7 billion lei.
At the same time, the revenues of the state budget in the first five months of 2021 amounted to 17.4 billion lei, up by 3.4 billion lei against the same period of the last year.
Also, the revenues managed by the State Fiscal Service stood at 7.7 billion lei, which is by 1.5 billion lei more against the concerned period of the year before. At the same time, the revenues administered by Customs Service amounted to 10.2 billion lei, increasing by 2 billion lei against the same period of the 2020 year.
The state budget expenses were fulfilled in a sum of 21.3 billion lei, which is by 3.1 billion lei more against the same period of the last year. The carrying out of the state budget ended with a deficit worth 3.9 billion lei. The balances of the financial means in the state budget’s accounts stood at 5.6 billion lei.
