Premiere of play by Estonian dramatist to take place at Chisinau-based theatre

Chisinau, 7 June /MOLDPRES/ - The premiere of a play titled, Miliardul (The Billion) by Jaan Tatte, stage management of Florin Gabriel Ionescu, stage manager and manager at the Western Theatre from Resita, Romania, will take place at the  Satiricus I.L. Caragiale  National Theatre on 8 and 10 June at 18:30.

‘’This dramatic text seems to be simple; yet, it is stunning complex, it is about the temptation of the money. A huge temptation, which transform pleasant, nice  people in caricatures. No matter the country or the social order. The comedy of Jaan Tatte combines with mastership the dark humour with a story full of mystery, resulting in a grotesque full of amusing surprises and palpitating turns. What would you do, if somebody gives a billion of dollars to your partner? What abysses of the soul can be stirred up by such a tempting bid? Will the love between the two ones resist such a trial?’’ the director of the Satiricus I.L. Caragiale National Theatre, Alexandru Grecu, said.
