As many as 48 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 7 June /MOLDPRES/- A number of 3,723 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 48 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which three import ones. As many as 255,501 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), none of all cases of infection registered is among medical employees.

As many as 313 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 60 are in extremely serious condition (12 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 973 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 14,057 are under supervision at home.

Another 22 people have been treated. As many as 248,062 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another three deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,137 people have died of coronavirus in all.
