Moldovan head of state participates in Zero Corruption Conference international conference

Chisinau, 7 June /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today participated in an international conference titled, Zero Corruption Conference, organized in mixed format, online and with physical presence in hall, in Kyiv, the presidential press service has reported.

„My commitment is to edify a truthful democracy in Moldova, with a fair and independent justice, to eliminate corruption from the political system and have stability in the region,’’ reads the message by the head of state at the event.

The conference brings together heads of state and government from our region, important voices from the civil society, representatives of the European Union, United States and the NATO. The event is dedicated to combating corruption and the risks to democracy in the region.
