Lyceum graduates take Baccalaureate examination in language of teaching

Chisinau, 8 June /MOLDPRES/ - The Baccalaureate examinations have started in Moldova; thus, 13,065 out of the lyceum graduates today will take the exam in the Romanian language and literature and another 2,899 will have to take the exam in the Russian language and literature.
The next Baccalaureate examination, in the foreign language studied, will take place on 11 June. As many as 16,121 candidates are expected at the exam. A number of 11,113 pupils will take the exam in the English language, 4,821 – in the French language, 91 – in German, 21 – in Spanish language, 43 – in Italian, 32 – in Turkish language.
This year, 1,301 candidates at the Baccalaureate examination were given the mark 10 ex-officio in the foreign language, based on the internationally recognized certificates.
The pupils graduates will have to take another examinations on 15, 18 and 22 June. The final results, after the contestations are considered, will be announced on 4 July.
