As many as 60 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 9 June /MOLDPRES/- A number of 5,051 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 60 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which one import case. As many as 255,601 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), none of all cases of infection registered is among medical employees.

As many as 231 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 48 are in extremely serious condition (12 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 711 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 14,383 are under supervision at home.

Another 115 people have been treated. As many as 248,260 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another four deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,145 people have died of coronavirus in all.
