As many as 60 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 10 June /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 4,946 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours, of which 1,202 quick antigen tests and 60 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which one import case. As many as 255,661 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), two of the cases are import ones – from Russia and Italy. At the same time, one case is among medical employees.

As many as 201 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 52 are in extremely serious condition (14 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

Another 124 people have been treated. As many as 248,384 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

In the context, 687 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 14,676 are under supervision at home.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another two deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,147 people have died of coronavirus in all.
