Lyceum graduates take Baccalaureate examination in foreign language in Moldova

Chisinau, 11 June /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 16,000 lyceum graduates take the Baccalaureate examination in the foreign language today.
According to data by the Education, Culture and Research Ministry (MECC), most pupils finishing lyceums will take the exam in the English language. A number of 11,113 candidates out of those 16,121 ones will take the examination in English language and 4,821 – in French language. Only 21 pupils have chosen to take the examination in the Spanish language. Another 91 pupils will write the exam in German, 43 - in the Italian language and 32 – the Turkish language.
The Baccalaureate examinations will be held till 22 June and the results will be posted at the Baccalaureate centres on 27 June.
The pupils who do not agree with the marks given will be able to contest the works in a term of 48 hours.
The final marks, after the contestations’ consideration, will be announced on 4 July.
