Graduates of Moldovan University of Medicine and Pharmacy take Hippocratic Oath

Chisinau, 11 June /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 990 graduates of the Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy (USMF) took the Hippocratic Oath today.

The event took place at the Zimbru stadium from Chisinau, where those 990 graduates were present. A number of 550 of the graduates are from Moldova and 440 - from various countries. Most of them – 736 – finished the education in medicine, 146 graduated the Stomatology Faculty, 71 graduates are specialists in pharmacy, 28 in preventive medicine and nine – in optometry.

Attending the event were representatives of the USMF Nicolae Testemitanu, deans, deputy deans, deans of departments and other university subdivisions, professors, students and parents.
