As many as 54 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 11 June /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 5,768 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 54 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which three import ones. As many as 255,715 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), none of all cases of infection registered is among medical employees.

As many as 194 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 53 are in extremely serious condition (12 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 688 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 14,738 are under supervision at home.

Another 117 people have been treated. As many as 248,501 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another two deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,149 people have died of coronavirus in all.
